Having worked with hundreds of neurodiverse individuals with social challenges, I have experienced first hand the difficulty of finding high quality, research supported, and effective social skills instruction. SLP Social was founded as a response to the gap in services for neurodiverse teens and adults with social challenges.

Having worked with hundreds of individuals with social challenges, I know first hand how difficult teaching ecologically valid social skills can be. Too often, social skill trainings for teens and adults don’t exist, or end up being more of a friend matching program or unstructured social events, than actually teaching ecologically valid skills supported by research. It is our singular goal to provide research supported social skill training. SLP social was founded as a response to the gap in services for research support social skill training for teens and adults.
We view our success as the success of our clients in their ability to make and keep friends, and have the foundational skills necessary for employment, friendships, romantic relationships, holding conversations, etc.
